Gynaetech would like to introduce a new device, the Transpatch.

The Transpatch is used to aid the application of Cardiotocography without the use of belts which are restrictive, inconvenient to patients and are associated with the risk of cross infection.

Belts cannot be used during insertion of epidural which sometimes takes more than 30 minutes.

The device is latex free and hypoallergenic.

The Transpatch has the following features:

1. Unlike the belt it allows freedom of movement for women in labour.
2. It is disposable and reduces the likelihood of cross infection.
3. The fetal heart and uterine contractions can be monitored during insertion of an epidural.
4. Provides patient comfort and easy application.
