Gynaetech cervical dilators offer the following advantages:

A set of two Gynaetech dilators compromises the normal dilator circumference range from 1mm to 12mm.

The required length of the intra uterine portion can be adjusted by moving the cervical stop along the threaded handle.

The smooth, flexible, light-weight plastic used to manufacture the Gynaetech dilators is semi-flexible allowing the dilators to follow the natural course of the cervical canal as much as possible without being too flexible to hinder insertion through a tight cervix.
